What you need to know on the day

Five Peaks Challenge starts and finishes at Stromlo Forest Park, ACT.
Access off John Gorton Drive via Opperman Avenue.
Ample parking, toilets and showers available, as well as a playground for entertaining any children who have come along to watch.

Event Day (Sunday) Schedule

6:30 am - Registration & rider pack collection opens (coffee van on site)

 

6:30 am - Cycle City mechanics on site ready for last minute adjustments


7:20 am - Longer ride rider briefing – all riders assemble on start line


7:30 am - Longer ride start


7:50 am - Shorter ride rider briefing – all riders assemble on start line


8:00 am - Shorter ride start


  • All riders must attend their briefing session at the start
  • Do not ride off without attending the briefing first
  • Late starters will be given a separate briefing


11:00 am - Rotary BBQ opens - riders get a free sausage sizzle on finishing and abyone can purchase food.
Handlebar Cafe open all day.


3:00 pm - All riders should have finished

Contents:
  • Rider (brevet) card
  • Route map
  • Rider instructions
Fill in details on your rider card, including emergency contact details. The card is marked at the checkpoints and records your achievement and ride time.

Attach the rider card to your handlebars (with the cable ties included in your rider kit) - so we can identify you as being part of the event and allows the route and checkpoint marshals to assist you.
